Even for office meetings, anything more than 2 hours in a stretch is often counterproductive. When meetings take so long, who is working? Are the people at the meeting concentrating on the issues with a proper focus? Meeting regularly (with a proper rhythm) but with shorter time for each meeting is more productive and meaningful.
