Freud was right about your unique individuality.
Openly you think you have a higher self-esteem but in reality it is lower.
Your egoistic infatuation and obsession with your self and ruthless pursuit of your gratification in the dominance of others would cause you problems.
Your strong assertions and lack of sensitivity of others make you difficulty to live with others.
However you have not reached the NPD stage that warrants a diagnosis.
The root of your problems boils down to your too frequent contacts with your ?inner selves?. Your whole self has lived many lives and adopted many personalities.
Your different reactions reflected their very different personalities in your interactions with others.
Final analysis: You are not doomed ?to fall in love with your own reflection in a pool of water.?

I like you the way you are, no offence to your boyfriend/lover. Love you with all honesty.

I get the impression you may be trying too hard to grow up to quick, probably a result of direct/indirect peer pressure. Grow up at your own pace and enjoy life on the way. Been following your blog for a few months now.:-)

I think you love yourself plenty… but don’t respect yourself enough. I dare not elaborate… but that’s the way I feel.
However, consider this example. Hugging and loving a child all the time… is very different from showing affection by scolding, slapping and disciplining him/her. I think you hug yourself too often.
