even as you bid farewell to the system, you will return. this is one system we have no option to run away from.

we are always "sugar-high" almost everyday at the beginning of a new job, particularly our first job. It is because of an idealistic and romantic notion that we are finally independent. This goes on till we realise that the employment world is often a cruel, heartless and bitchy one. This IS the notion that will remain for most of us.

The Point of Power is in the Present

You have made a start towards the development to your own abilities in practical terms as there are no limitations to the self. The loving acknowledgement of your own uniqueness allows you to make a change and trust in the present situation.

Your ideal is not yet realized, it is just a direction that you used what you have in the now that you know, and be acquiescing to your own opportunities and abilities, and using those through the POWER OF THE PRESENT..

Trust yourself more often; if you do not you will forever be looking to others to prove your merit to you, and you will never be satisfied. You form your reality and by knowing yourself more intimately than you did before, you are better equipped to handle your personal reality now.

Gaoing freelance is a step towards independence if not liberation. There aren't many that fight for what they believe in. Kuddos to you!

I saw the ugly side of stuff the moment I stepped into the office, and there are still more to come. It's ugly, it's the office, it's just the proffession and how the capitalist society is. Plain ugly. Plain dissapointing.

kudos to u. i have the same helplessness feeling after working for about a year. then, a new job gives the much needed positive energy. now, i'm back with that helplessness feeling again. and still thinking of how to proceed with my life. sigh! whether we're 20 or 30, we'll experience the same cycle over and over again i guess.
