we do boast, i feel it helps our self-esteem and is healthy, its only bad when you hurt or make others feel little.

men are dicks. sure, there’s one or two genuinely nice fellas, and there’s a whole bunch of genuine assholes pretending to be nice fellas.

perhaps then, if the men you meet are all uppity about their myriad achievements, you might want to consider seeking companionship from another subset of the male species.

say for example; pre-pubescents. they rarely have enough spine to question your intelligence. contrarily, they might take to worshipping your maturity and worldliness.

there’s always the option of hanging out with white men. sure they’re mostly prats, but they hide their disdain well, almost as well as they hide their affairs.

my point, and i do have one (thanks, ellen), is that you have OPTIONS. choosing not to exercise those options and bitch about it instead is also an option (but you know that already).
