Please visit the poor souls

Monday, May 9th, 2005 @ 1:54 pm | Web-logger

My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Blogging,

A beggar blogger really did visit my blog and wanted genuinely to link exchange but I was so cruel I called him a beggar and hereby sealed and elevated my fate to be labelled the most bad tempered bitchy-blogger in the capital of Malaysia.

So, in my desperate attempts to rectify things, I am begging the great deity of the Blogosphere Heavens who reigns his might over all of the blogging republic to forgive me for my sheer arrogance and stupidity.

I was wrong for being so harsh and cocky. He truly deserves a link exchange. Please visit him and assure him that he did not behave like a beggar, unlike how I so unkindly labelled him in a private message.

And be kind, be sweet lest he deletes your sincere wishes of love. Say a good thing to him because he deserves all the support he can get.

Curses be upon me. Henceforth I shall enter the dungeons of utter remorse and promise to be kinder to the lesser minions.

I meant, I will try to be kinder.

sashi: aww… close your eyes and trust that you will see fireworks bursting in their gloriest best.

fishtail: yeah i’m suffering here in dungeon-o-topia. but the liberty of being able to cuss all i want is exhilirating.

  4. AWM user Says:

I really love the way a person can blog… and curse in the blogs… do all sorts of funky insults… and still have the face to show graduation photo with family in the “gallery”.

I am not sure whether it is brave or stupid… but I know… I never would. I guess I’m just chicken shit.

  5. Adam Says:

Jumped here to see your counter reaction. It was disappointing. ;-)
Shows that we have a lot of free time on our hands even though projects are piling up on our desk.
Shit! Got to go back to work.

  6. minishorts Says:

awm user: its easy if you’re me. i just hope i don’t disintegrate and run into an eternal hiatus.

adam: really that disappointing meh? I thought i was very sincere already…

  7. anonymous Says:

Hahahahahahahha, fishtail, you are sooooooo funny! (or naive)

Love your post mini, we should all treat beggars with respect.

  8. Kenneth Says:

hmm, dang. I was about to blog about this. I mean receiving the “link exchange” message. Oh well….

  9. Elaine Says:

*LMFAO* Woman…I just LOVE it when you’re…*chokes*…sincere.

  10. Saffron Says:

    What the…?

    I demand a refund.

  11. minishorts Says:

anonymous: in moral studies, we call it ‘kesederhanaan’, even the lowest of the societies deserve humble respect. but of course, humility is a revered attribute.

kenneth: well, did i say my peace for you?

elaine: you eat fishball never chew properly, that’s why you choke!

saffron: it’s like when you walk into the international screens at GSC MV. the show’s so artistic only the very classy can faham what’s happening.

  12. twm Says:

Beggars can’t be choosers may appear derogatory!

Poor bugger; he has not much links – is OK. According to Oxford Dict. “ refers to a person especially a man that you like to feel sympathy for”

  13. minishorts Says:

Actually, I thought it was very ungentlemanly to have posted what was a private message in public in an effort to gather attention. Still, all efforts must be applauded, and to be completely honest, I WAS rude, so I really meant it when I said I was wrong.

I honestly didn’t mean to hurt anyone’s feelings. But the deed’s been done, and there’s no turning back the clock.

Though, I would do the same to idiots who msg you in MSN and say ‘a/s/l?’ In my book the PM was no nobler than a run-of-the-mill friendster ‘can you be my friend’ idiotic PMs.

  14. vivian Says:

hmmm u have your rules, so let it go.
i dont really understand the meaning behind the link exchange.
    link for what?

  15. minishorts Says:

vivian: i don’t understand also. i’m letting it go in my very own way. the whole concept about link-exchanging.

off the record, no i don’t think highly of people who go around begging for link exchange. YES, it’s called begging. it’s no different from those friendster losers who go around PM-ing girls with ’single’ labelled in cap letters in their status section. What’s the notes we’ve been getting?

‘Hello. You look cute. Can I be your friend? hope to hear from you soon.

So. Now that I’ve said my piece, I bid the smarter community to appraise my stupidity.

The rest of the world has no right to play cheerleading squad anyway.

  16. Sam Says:

    Pathetic. Hits feed his ego.

  17. Why Are You Here? Says:

    You’re So Vain

The community is full of prancing drama queens, flashers and pseudo-intellectuals. Enough already; we can’t take the competition no more!
