I thought the topic was quite horrid to look at but then again…
It was not easy compiling this list, which goes to show how many blogs are actually good in my elitist holier-than-thou's version of good. But then again, I must warn you.
I'm not normal. I'm not mainstream. And usually what I very much like may not be very much loved by the minions. Also usually you need to have a farely solid command of the core language that the so-mentioned blog is blogged in.
I aspired to look around the world today. I must first show you Hani's Honey, no not the blog, the man,Tariq. Oh why does he have something smart to say to everything? But first, today, he tells us who he really is,
A fraud. A prevaricator. Someone who projects a face across an impersonal medium. A charlatan, a poseur; One Who Is Not Truly Himself.
Heaven forbid if I should diss Tariq again. I quite like that photo you have as the avatar-lah. It looks quite cute and makes you seem harmless. Can I cubit your cheeks a bit?
Not far from me resides The Insane Ox, Ash, another seasoned Malaysian blogger who is more profound, and fortunately, very much more coherent than me.
Although all the same you still need some kind of intellect to appreciate what he says.
Now even though Ash disclaims the contents of his blog as follows,
The content of this weblog (after this referred to as the blog) is not meant to be taken too seriously in any way, therefore I assume no responsibility for general malaise, fevers, reduced mental capacity, and other occupational hazards that may arise due to the reading (and possible application) of the suggestions that may be contained therein.
… I can attest that personally, it is quite hard not to take his content seriously. Ash is always better solely for that fact that he can touch on sensitive topics without making them seem like a big deal to start debating over. I'm lack that talent.
No I didn't forget you, Lionel, still one of my favourite bloggers of all time, which is why I keep telling you to blog on blog on. Fortunately you're now more regular than you were previously sporandic, and this is a blessing to the Blogosphere, that which I am a champion of (chewah, show off again).
But why Lionel? I'm going to violate copyright in two exhibits.
Exhibit One: On the femes bloggers vs jeles bloggers issue,
But the blogosphere is a social ecosystem, and that makes it a scale-free network. A network of such nature is made up of — given that every node can link to any number of other nodes — a few nodes with many links, and many nodes with few links. Put bluntly, there will always be only a small handful that gets the most attention and floats above the plankton. Short story, nothing is egalitarian where a lot of people are involved.
Exhibit Two: On the London terrorist bombings.
Terrorists, what were you thinking? It's Britain, for goodness sake, home of the stiff upper lip. Don't Panic is one of their mottos. All you've done was boost what little patriotism they have and pub patronage.
Now if only he would blog more regularly.
Like I said, I don't do Link-Exchange, but I visit good blogs, and when I come across them, I like to recommend them to people. I like variety, but above all that, I like variety that stands out as good readable ones. Unfortunately, my taste is select, but I have come (cleverly) to notice that if you like me, you will inevitable enjoy the kind of blogs I enjoy. But of late, it hasn't been easy to find good bloggers, so if you think you're one, or if you know of one, please write to me and tell me about it.
He or she will either get a starring role in the Bedtime Stories or become a Marvellous Male/Fabulous Female.
