Sung to the tune of Complicated

Tuesday, August 2nd, 2005 @ 4:31 pm | Web-logger

Uh huh, life's like this
Uh huh, uh huh, that's the way it is
Cause life's like this
Uh huh, uh huh that's the way it is

(FOR THE WELL-KNOWN ONES)
Chill out whatcha cryin’ for?
Lay back we love you like before
And if you could only let it be
You will see
I like you the way you are
Before you got the blogging star award
When you're blogging for yourself and no one else but now you're

Much too femes and everyone's jeles
You're watching your back like you can't relax
You're tryin' to be cool you look like a fool to me
Tell me

Why you have to go and make your posts so constipated?
I see you're blogging crap to please your fans it gets me all frustrated
Life's not like this you
And you fall and you crawl and you break
And you take what you get and you turn it into honesty
And promise me I'm never gonna find you fake it
No no no

(FOR THE COMMENTORS)
You pop in uninvited
Leave comments like you mean somethin’ good
Where you are and where it's at you see
You're making me
Laugh out when you say your peace
Take off that anonymous mask
You know you're not fooling anyone
When you've become

Somebody else like everyone else
Watching your back, like you can't relax
Trying to be cool you look like a coward to me
Tell me

Why you have to go and make things so convulated?
I see you think you so clever liddat it gets me frustrated
Life's like this you
And you fall and you crawl and you break
And you take what you get and you turn it into
honesty
Promise me I'm never gonna find you mask it
No no no

(FOR THE NEW BLOGGERS)
Chill out whatcha blogging for?
Lay back, it's all been said before
And if you could only let it be
You will see

Somebody else round everyone else
You're watching your back, like you can't relax
You're trying to be cool, you look like a fool to me
Tell me

Why you have to go and make your blog so complicated?
I see the way you're bloggin’ like you're someone else gets me frustrated
Life's like this you
and You fall and you crawl and you break
and you take what you get and you turn it into
honesty
promise me I'm never gonna find you fake it
no no no

If you do not mind, I will throw in some scientific research by yours truly :-)

Kaafirphobia is a contemporary neologism defined as prejudice against non-Muslim peoples (or Kaafirs) by Muslims. This author defines kaafirphobia more specifically. According to him, kaafirphobia encompasses any Muslim who:

    1) upholds religious fanaticism
    2) upholds violent tendencies towards non-Muslims
    3) upholds terrorism
    4) rejects concepts such as:
    a) equality between Muslims and kaafirs
    b) tolerance towards apostates from Islam
    c) democracy
    d) human rights

    Have a nice day.

I am so smart and clever also I don’t understand what Gary W. Bush is trying to prove with his comment on this post?

  11. Dabido (Teflon) Says:

“Laugh out when you say your peace”

Um .. isn’t it supposed to be ‘… say your piece’

[Sorry ... don't kick me in da nuts! Not trying to be a Grammar Nazi or anything. I noticed Asimov made a similar mistake in his book 'Authorised Murder' when he had a character say, '... give him a peace of my mind.']

It must be two words I find easy to spot when used incorrectly.

  12. minishorts Says:

dabido> it was intentional. not sure about asimov though.

  13. Dabido (Teflon) Says:

Well, Asimov’s wasn’t intentional. I think was simple slip which even the editor didn’t catch!

How was yours intentional? Just trying to grasp if you were using irony, or if you using it because of some other noob using it or what. I seem to miss why it is used incorrectly.
