Maybe I should be thankful that friendster is stingy with their bandwidth.

Try to protect your own pages now first. Disable all right click capabilities and image toolbar using scripts. You may find some in here:

Sue her for plagarism! You own the copyright on what you write, so grab yourself a lawyer … or at least threaten them a little. (It works for me. Never left court without getting what I want and being happy about the outcome … not that I’ve gotten to court that often!)

You know, immitation is a form of flattery. But then again, that is probably not the case, as ’stealing’ from your blog and not acknowledging it helps her gain notorierity and this controversy helps us. Publicity is good; and bad publicity even better. In a way, she has managed to ‘achieve’ her goal – to get noticed, and get readers for her blog.
Take comfort that you are so good that someone has to copy you.

No use getting all worked up like this. Let minishorts decide. If she wants to take some actions, I guess Friendster COULD do something about it.
I suggest talk to her first, minishorts. Ask her which crazy disturbing childhood memory has driven her up the wall till she has no sense of creativity whatsoever. If she acts hostile, then act upon it. After all, you can’t say you’re losing nothing, coz it’s still taking up your bandwidth, am I not right…

minishorts, there is a very simple way of teaching her a lesson. Since she’s linking the pictures from your site;
1. Save those pictures under other names, and alter your posts appropriately. Editing your ‘lips’ pics and putting in watermarks would be a good idea now.
2. Find some very unflattering photos, the more unmentionable the better, (Doc, Paul, or Charger can help with this, but I’m sure you have some of your own
) and save them under the filenames the bitch is linking from. That way from then on her readers would be staring at lips ‘doing other things’ instead.

Wow, you sure have a lot of riled up fans. Look, its no big deal. We take a lot of free stuff off the internet and other people take our stuff. I’m alright with it as long as they don’t use up my bandwidth through hotlinking the pics. Articles that are not copywrited are assumed to be free for taking. This was the driving spirit of the internet. What happened was uncool, perhaps, but not that big a deal. I have more articles plagiarised than most bloggers so I know what I am talking about. Let’s forget it and move on to bigger things. Gee, suddenly I sound like a liberal.

I don’t think it was just you. i think it was all the flaming she got for what she did that made her delete. did you see the number of people who read minishorts regularly that went to her “blog” to flame her? some went to the extent of commenting on all THREE posts that she copied leh! she got lots of people very upset cuz minishorts is so popular and famous mah. I just hope she doesn’t open another account somewhere else and do the same VERY SAME THING again.
