Things I really want for Christmas
It's less than 15 days to X'mas, and there's just so many things I haven't done yet. I've got my Christmas garland all rolled up in a box near the stairs, and the shiny baubles and decorations in boxes, but I've yet to find the time to put them up (I get home after 10 almost every night these days)… I wanted to do them today, but look where I am… IN THE OFFICE AGAIN!
Sheesh.
Monday's a holiday for Selangor peeps like me. Eric's so sweet he's taken the day off just to spend it with me, but I forsee a lot of our time together will be on loan to the visiting relatives from both our sides. GAH…
Anyway, the sweetie did ask me what I wanted this Christmas, and the thing I wanted to buy was definitely wishful thinking (since it costs over a thousand bucks). And then, I thought about it for a while… I just want a few things.
1) Less obstacles for the coming year, or at least, not-so-difficult obstacles, (God, can or not? If cannot also never mind, just give me the grace to overcome them the best that I can).
2) I just bought a plant from Ikea the other day, and I'm wishing for more leaves to grow out of it. Can? Please?
3) I decided that if I can look like this for the next five years, with minimal wrinkles and discoloration on my skin, I'll be happy. Very happy.
4) I want Eric and I to be together for as long as forever means. Crossing fingers. Did I tell you I commited the whole relationship to Him already? This relationship is just so different from the previous ones!
5) Finally, I saw this old strip in my Bloglines the other day, and I thought it was just the thing I needed.
Actually, I don't know what I want for Christmas yet, so yeah, just surprise me, will ya?

Legendary … Legend was one of my old Nicknames (yes, I ain’t making it up) … only got it because I worked a full time day job, a part time job six days a week (with as many hours as a normal day job) and got High Distinctions at University that year (which I was studying for in my spare time) and lived off three to four hours sleep each night.
Try doing that for a while!!!!
Of course, I am also not being legendary right at this moment. In fact, I’m probably being exactly the opposite! Waaaah!

And your plant WILL grow. Just give it sometime. If you like, talk to it…or better, stroke the leaves.
Btw, S-Kay, that’s plant jelly and comes in a variety of colours. I’ve got my money plant growing in shades of purple, red and orange.

The plant you bought from ikea is known as corn plant(layman’s term) and will thrive in minimal sunlight condition with minimal watering.
it will grow, though not as fast as you want it to be as it’s in a small cup.
