Trees
So today I took the remaining part of the garland we had fixed from the ceiling at home and made this little tree to spruce up the scene at the office.

The colleagues started singing 'We wish you a merry Christmas', while I tried very hard to make my USB drive work. Nah it didn't, not on my computer. I tried it on a colleague's comp, which forced the flash to do reformat itself, and my wanglihom MP3 album got deleted, along with my 8 files of An Animal Story. I'm not quite sure if I have all 8 documents of the novel still saved up in my house's computer, but let's just hope there is a copy.
I'm calmer today you know, I'm not so angry anymore. Actually I'm calmer these days, maybe because the changes that have occured in my life–the new things I found out about myself… not like they'll change very much of me, nonetheless… I don't know. I've stopped asking why now? Why me? Why has it got to be like that?
But then I remembered that there are many things, not available for us to know, so why must we find out more?
So, back to Christmas, and what was that you wanted already?
A few questions, or really, there's just three:
1) What are you doing this Christmas?
2) If you could have anything (material) you want for Christmas, anything at all, what would it be?
3) If it could not be material at all, then what would you have?

1. I’ll probably be spending some time with the family and girlfriend. Hopefully not shopping, catching up with my GMAT practice.
2. I would like to have a trust fund in my name for RM300k. Alternatively I wouldn’t mind winning the lottery.
3. I would like to have the last 5 years of my life back again to relive.

1) I will be in bed contemplating fully with my heart and soul the wonderful concept of “Peace on Earth, Goodwill to men”.
2) Material things? I would like to have bundles of cash so that I can arrange them on the floor to form HUGE letters that spell “Peace on Earth, Goodwill to men”.
3) Not material? Are you serious? Awww……but no problem. Just give me the power of foresight and place me next to a Toto shop and I will soon be using bundles of cash to spell out “Peace on Earth, Goodwill to men”.

1) What are you doing this Christmas?
Experience a typical French Christmas with ze boyfriend and his family in Lyon/French alps - probably making snow angels/snowmen and trying my hand/feet at skiing.
2) If you could have anything (material) you want for Christmas, anything at all, what would it be?
A nice Canon Powershot A75 AND some cold hard cash please. (I know X’mas is the time to look inwardly but I’m desperate.)
3) If it could not be material at all, then what would you have?
Everlasting love for all, myself and Nil especially; and the ever-cheesy world peace thingie.

Oh heck, in my hurry to post the “Goodwill to men” comment, I forgot about the women.
December 15th, 2005 at 3:34 pm

The answer to any question which starts with a WHY is WHY NOT.
Q. Why Now? A. Why not?
Q. Why Me? A. Why Not?
Q. Why has it got to be like that? A. Why not?
Poosible exceptions include:
Q. Why the itching? A. Herpes.
Q. Why do people treat me like an idiot? A. Ptttthhhh!
Q. Why is a brick and define ‘Real’ in your answer? A. Fish.
So, back to Christmas, and what was that you wanted already?
A loving GF. Maybe I need to pimp myself.
But who is strong enough to rip through the Teflon suit???? That is the real question!
1) What are you doing this Christmas?
Going over to the Sisters to be with the family.
2) If you could have anything (material) you want for Christmas, anything at all, what would it be?
A Cello - I keep bidding on them on e-bay - but they keep eluding me!
3) If it could not be material at all, then what would you have?
World peace (I sound like such a Miss Universe candidate … how embarrassing … then again, George W Bush getting impeached might have te same result!)

1. Celebrating with family. A small, private sort of occasion is what’s planned, the better for reflection and contemplation.
‘Dear Santa, I’ve been a very good plink this year. Please can I have…:
2. License to be bad.
3. Seriously, peace, love and contentment the world over.
3a: Oh and a very Merry Christmas to Minishorts.’

1) probably laze in bed, spend time with mum and dad, reunion with classmates in the evening
2) new camera! being realistic and steadfastly refusing to look at anything lest i really get tempted
3) non-material? grandmother’s good health; someone to be more expressive re feelings and emotions *resigned smiley* (whoops that was 2 things for #3)
p.s. dabido(Teflon): bidding for a cello on ebay? was seriously considering that when i was looking around for an upgrade the last couple of months, but in the end i didnt take the risk of buying an instrument i hadn’t played on… now lucky me, i’ve found my perfect beautiful new darling

Well, only one big wish for Christmas, but it’s an impossible wish (also along the lines of ‘world peace’), the end of all sorrows and suffering…and everybody including those long dead (almost everybody, except for those truly, truly rotten hearted) all go to heaven… (dreaming)
since I can’t have any of these, I will probably dream of something for myself - a scholarship to do a PhD

it’s developer should be Runtime software or something.
