I snagged this line off Adeline Gong's blog, (that you ought to read, because she writes wonderfully inquisitive pieces, that make you nod your head and say, 'It's like that for me too, sometimes.')

I'm not sure if you feel that way when you read minishorts.net, but I suppose when people complain I get too cryptic, its calming because at least, I know that the shields I build around myself are working better than I hoped they would. People, on the general, have very strange tendencies to view others from their own benchmarks, and in the process, they fail to realize that individuals are unfathomable because we're all different, nothing wrong with that.

It's like how some of the silent visitors have been boggled by these little things I jot down in this place, for purposes which only I (and the few friends and readers I have chosen to confide in), will understand… and how the frustrated ones end up banging against the light metal bars that I have surrounded the insides of the events that have brought about these jottings. They lament and accuse, 'If you wanna say something, say it properly, don't make us guess like this.'

I didn't intend to make you guess, it's just I don't intend to let you know. You thought you know me, you thought you have a right to me, but too bad. I am ONLY A BLOG, I AM NOT A PERSON. WHEN YOU READ THIS, it isn't Claire speaking to you, it's the side of Claire who wants to speak to you, and today she's transmitting the sort of knowledge about her that she allows you to look into.

And the rest, I'm sorry, you'll just have to side guess. And if you can't guess, come on, stop pulling your hairs. That's not good for your health you know. And for God's sake, get on with your life and stop begging me for the information. Tsk, tsk.

Oh yeah, Suresh, I AM NOT GETTING MARRIED LAH. I have the tendency to get all lovey-dovey when something mushy happens in my life, and the current thing… well it's NOT mushy at all. It's just a fresh change, but I can't exactly reveal it yet because I've got some loose ends to tie up. In due time, in due time.
