You know, Eric doesn't really read my blog. He sometimes pops by just to see what other things about me he didn't know already, but usually, he doesn't really bother.
Actually, on hindsight, none of my ex-boyfriends really followed my blog anyway. So the other day when I found out that a friend was pestering her other half to read her blog more often, I started to wonder, 'Should I do the same to Eric?'
But then again, nothing in minishorts.net includes things that he didn't already know about me. I actually think that he only visits my blog to make sure I don't write the things I'm not supposed to write… you know what he says, 'Eh not everything is bloggable, you know?'
So here's my question, does your other half read your blog?
I have a feeling most don't really bother.

Nope, not mine either and I wouldn’t force the issue. Whatever I have or need to say, I will say it to her for real. Then again..she doesn’t really bother in our crazy kind of lifestyle and like you said, neither does Eric.

Not mine neither. She just occasionally pop in a write a few comments under some weird names, not wanting to let me know she’s there. But i knew which comment belonged to her, when i look at the grammer. Her grammer cannot make it.

My girlfriend reads mine occasionally, and I do pop by hers to check for updates. Maybe because it’s a long distance relationship, but we talk on skype every night and chat about everything.
She occasionally puts up her artwork on the blog, which I like to go and kepoh. God knows why she reads mine, cos it’s usually filled with gibberish that I write.

other halves reading blogs – scary,
coz then, you can’t be noty,

so best they dont read so no one worries.

yeah same here. he doesn’t even comment. he doesn’t really comes..like obsessively. but since i’m a compulsive blogger i just go over there and see how he is. since it’s LDR and all.

I used to ask mine to read, but eventually stopped and even told him that it’s better if he doesn’t read, because then I can’t say what is really on my mind.
I suspect he does read once in a while, but he doesn’t leave comments.
However, I read his and comment IF he ever updates.

He bugged me to reveal my web add. when he found out that I blog. Gave it to him and well, what I have written in my blog is not much different than what I tell him when I see him in the evening. The only difference is that, one is verbal, the other is written.

He stalks mine! When you have something troubling you and just don’t feel like telling anybody but only express through your blog, that’s when it’s spelled “trouble”. He’ll keep on pestering you telling him what’s wrong!!! Gone all my privacy…

Mine can’t access into my blog from his office cos of the words “NUDE” and “NAKED”… mwahahaha….

Mine steers clear of my blog. Probably doesn’t want to read what I write about him and furthermore lives with me and doesn’t see the need to know more about me. Anyway he says he’s got the better end of the deal, he gets to see the more entertaining bits of me no one else does. Double edged compliment….

I think I’d be really sad if the other half didn’t find my mind interesting enough to bother knowing about.
Because all said, a lasting relationship is one where the minds meet, not just body parts.
I guess it depends on how much of one’s dominant personality and intellect go into one’s blog. If the blog’s just a farce or a lark, then why bother, right?

o.o mine bf does read my blog.. and i will tell him if i updated my blog! hee hee… but i do have a guy friend who absolutely dun like his gf to read his blog, thus having frequent quarrel. does it means tat the guy trust his friend more den his gf?
