Birthday girls get tea in a vase.
It seems like forever since I last did a photo post.
It was April's birthday on Sunday. We went to Wong Kok Char Chan Teng to celebrate the occasion. We: Nick and fiancee, April and boyfriend, minishorts and boyfriend.
Photos of the food first. Well some of them. I didn't manage to take a photo of every dish. We were mostly, too busy gawking at the size of the iced-tea. But wait.
Ronald's Fried Wantan Mee. I'm pretty sure there was a fancy name for it, but I can't recall right now.
April's ice-cream waffle, and her Cheese Baked with Beef Rice, right behind it.
My Mango-Sago dessert. This was very, very, very sweet.
April's cake. One slice, because we were all on diets.

I still don't understand why we always do this at birthdays. The birthday girl has to take out the candle with her mouth.
I'm so happy, you can't see my eyes when I smile. Well, this drink is huge.
HUGE. I also think this happens to be a fantastic advertorial photograph for the restaurant.
Most people know this already, I think. If its your birthday, and you happen to go to Wong Kok Char Chan Teng with at least five friends (6 people in total), all you need to do is spend RM30, show the waiters your ID and you'll get this huge glass vase of iced-tea free. Enough to feed at least 10 people I think.

Don’t you think it’s very weird to see such a small slice of cake with such a big vase of Teh Ais? Hahaha!
And the very-yesteryear-taking-the-candle-out-with-your-mouth thing is actually to describe the girls giving blowjob (or at least that’s what we commonly know so you can imagine how that birthday girl will look like when giving blowjob).

erm. i don’t know the story about the candles, but I know one thing for sure, with the birthday boy/girl’s face so close to the cake, it just takes a *nudge* to dunk their face in cake.
That’s why we have 2 cakes. 1 to eat, another one made entirely of cream for the food fight.
