Up, close and personal.

I've been making my rounds in the office. Up, down, up, down. It's tiring when your department is split between three floors. But it's okay.

At long last, I do not have to work on Saturdays anymore, unless it's terribly necessary. Awesome decision, Board Guys. I love all of you so much. I don't even mind working the extra daily half-hour. It's not a big deal at all.

Eric's car is almost ready. He says all he needs now is to get new seats, maybe bucket ones (whatever they are) and a new exhaust system. I don't get men with their cars, but he invests so much into making sure the car looks okay.

How come he doesn't want to invest in my beauty regime hoh? I want a spa, and a beauty-makeover too. I might want to go for slimming sessions. Marie France, can or not? If an old Honda can deserve it, why can't I deserve it?

I sound so shallow up there.

I'm ranting, you know I'm ranting. It's because… I can't get used to this life. I mean. Maybe the holidays were far too long. I need a getaway. I'm glad I'm getting one. Next week. Colmar Tropicale. or Awana Genting. One place only for a meeting. Which is better?

Which is a better place for a meeting and a weekend getaway?

Car and woman both deserves special treatment. The only reason why cars deserves more, it’s because they don’t complain if anything goes wrong ;)

Everybody needs a beauty makeover / spa-pampering from time-to-time… even some guys (well, this one, at least).

As for which place is better, I’ve been to both, and personally Awana would be my choice. Colmar, apart from the gimmicky architectural attraction, doesn’t offer much else. Unless you want to indulge in a paintball war (they have a pretty nice setup there). But then again, my last visit was about 2 years ago, and there may be more up there these days.

At least with Awana, you can run away to get some real cool climatic effects another 15 minutes up the long and winding road… but that’s just me - I prefer cold weather vs. hot ‘n humid (which Colmar can get on most days).

I agree with walski69 - Awana’s better. Went up to Colmar this year and errrrr…. errrr…. after you have seen the facade/building fronts … nothing much there …sien lah.

A man investing in his own car, he can get it in tip top condition and continue to get new chicks even after the old one left him.

Investing in his current chick, will that guarantee he can even get laid ? :D

Otherwise, the investment will just be a waste of money.

Reading through that I’m suddenly reminded why I never went back for a second manicure even though I liked it so much. Its always wasted when the day after, you’re admiring your manicurist’s handiwork, your colleague goes “Eh, we’ve got a race this weekend…we need extra pitcrew. Come along?”

    Mweh I like being pampered

Also been to both places and Awana is a better choice. The climate is cool with golfing facilities. Another fifteen minutes drive up will take you to the entertainment and shopping area and CASINO!

Bucket seats would keep minishorts nice and safe
