Okay lah I so failed…
I just got back from Genting, and then from Kota Bharu (my Grandma got sick so I took emergency leave to go back to see her). And I just like checked on my last post. And I'm like.
OMG I so failed.
Ok. So the mechanism so doesn't work. You guys don't like freebies. I'm not good at doing commercial shit. Which figures. Maybe it's cos I've been slackening, the popularity isn't really that awesome (I've been kidding myself all these while), I don't get down and personal anymore bla bla, bla bla. It's the GLC syndrome lah (someone once suggested that I work for a government-owned conglomerate), I've turned all 'lazy' and 'unreliable'.
Which is true. I suppose.
So I'm scrapping off the freebies, keeping all three books until the time is right, and saying goodbye for a while.
Actually the truth is I have a bloody event coming up next Saturday so I have to be sporadically unreliable until then.
Toodles!
Oh yeah, Eric and I are still looking for a house. But they say property market going to crash soon… so I'm a bit skeptical about buying houses like now. Then again, from the looks of things, it really seems like everything is crashing about us, right?
Till the next week.

Take buying the house as a long term investment.
Doesn’t matter if you buy it today and the market crashes tomorrow.
Yes, you could have gotten it at a cheaper price, but you’re not there to make a quick buck. You’re there to buy a house to hold for the next 25 years.
Just buy it and be done with it. And while you’re at it, get a nice decent house in a nice decent location.
This is of course assuming that you and eric are planning to buy the house for long term, even if you break up.

Just wait for a bit. The boom is nearing the end. Some civil and M & E firms were already laying off employees last year. The dip will be in 2 -3 years.

Well, life has to go on even if the economic crashes tomorrow. Just make allowances for such emergency and go get urself a house! Who knows the army will take on the streets tomorrow… Too much of what-ifs and you’ll end up accomplishing nothing.

Take care la, don’t so stress. I also wanted to get a condo but after calculating a fair bit, cannot make it this year. Maybe in two years la.

You have a life outside your blog, and that is probably much, much more important, unless you were running some social activist or political blog….

Buying a property? My naive thinking is, the interest rate is not going to go down. It can only go UP. Assuming that you are going to take a loan, isnt it wiser to buy now? That’s my 2 pence

hmmmm…

well since you’re lazy it would do well to assume that your readers are lazy too
maybe a quiz would be good ya’know
something like:-
1. What is your name?
2. State your email address?
3. Type in PIXART in all capitals here: ______
personally i do kinda believe in the property cylic thingy. but if i wanted to get a house & i see something i like - would get it anyway instead of waiting
