Mode Change

Sep 07, 2006 in Diary-writer

I log on I come in and then I want to go all diary-like again. It's a phase that revisits me time and time again, this is it. Now is it. But I'm torn. I also want a hiatus, and some money, among other things.

I'm on that diet again. Just before my birthday, it's coming, no next month really. I'm only talking about it now because my boyfriend keeps asking what I want for my birthday.

I said, anything BUT a dog.

I love dogs, really I do, I just do not have the time to take care of them.

I want more time, but it's not like he's able to give me that.

I'm just planning to go back to basics. Minimalizing minishorts. You know?

Thinking.

I spoke to Edrei, who said, 'It's the same. Whether or not you're a privately open or a scandalously narrow-minded person, whether or not you're A or B or C, the combination of all three still makes up to be you.'

Just different facets of me that's all.

Actually I know Ed, you did not really say all of the above, I just modified the words to make it sound like what you had said in so many lines. What I understood of it. DO YOU THINK THESE PEOPLE WOULD UNDERSTAND?

Nah. They never do.

That's the beauty of it.

I've been making my rounds in the office. Up, down, up, down. It's tiring when your department is split between three floors. But it's okay.

At long last, I do not have to work on Saturdays anymore, unless it's terribly necessary. Awesome decision, Board Guys. I love all of you so much. I don't even mind working the extra daily half-hour. It's not a big deal at all.

Eric's car is almost ready. He says all he needs now is to get new seats, maybe bucket ones (whatever they are) and a new exhaust system. I don't get men with their cars, but he invests so much into making sure the car looks okay.

How come he doesn't want to invest in my beauty regime hoh? I want a spa, and a beauty-makeover too. I might want to go for slimming sessions. Marie France, can or not? If an old Honda can deserve it, why can't I deserve it?

I sound so shallow up there.

I'm ranting, you know I'm ranting. It's because… I can't get used to this life. I mean. Maybe the holidays were far too long. I need a getaway. I'm glad I'm getting one. Next week. Colmar Tropicale. or Awana Genting. One place only for a meeting. Which is better?

Which is a better place for a meeting and a weekend getaway?

After a long weekend.

It bloody sucks to be back at work.

Observation #1 I was last at the office on Wednesday last week. When I left, a couple of my sea-monkeys were mating. This morning I came back and I saw the monkeys still stuck to each other. I'm about to leave the office soon and they're still humping each other.

Freaking creatures have an amazing sex drive whey!

Speaking of sex, I just read in Cleo that there's this awesome new boutique hotel in Singapore that boasts mirrors in its room. Wall-to-wall, and ceilinged mirrors. AN AWESOME VOYEUR'S DREAM COME TRUE YOH! (Ten years ago I wrote in this blog that my sexual fantasy is to have sex in a room full of mirrors because I like to see things from all angles possible.)

But of course, it sucks when you've sworn to be celibate.

No really, it's cool to be nice and innocent.

Or to TRY to be nice and innocent.

I really am nice and innocent.

I was not hijacked by aliens.

Actually, my car's parking lot was hijacked by function crazed maniacs who INSIST that to run the biggie event of the week, they have to seal the entire parking lot. Hence, I have to walk an extra mile just to get to my car, so that I can get home today.

Bloody hell.

Ok. Obviously long long weekends don't really agree with my work patterns. For some reason I'm feeling REALLY slow and lazy today.

Oh fucks, because of the long weekend, my Pixart book got delayed, and Suanie beat me to it. But check out the discounts they're offering there. See the Suan's site for details please.

You so don't want to see my version of the Pixart Photobook. It's filled with photos of me and Eric making out. No really. Actually it's a feel-good family book of my trip to Bangkok. When it comes, I will photograph the final product and post it up. PROVIDED of course that my camera is still working then.

I SO NEED A NEW CAMERA.

PANASONIC! DO YOU READ MY BLOG? CAN YOU PLEASE GIVE ME A NEW CAMERA?

OK, Or maybe I'll just borrow a camera from the office and fix it up for this purpose.

I'm so random today okay I know this. I think I shall get back to finishing up the paperwork now.

Later.
