Just jotting down some random thoughts.

To the person who said that I'm swayed emotionally, I have to say clean observation. Probably the result of years of observing my behaviour on this blog.

To the person who has done a lot of research in order to back up his conspiracy theory, I'd say awesome job, keep up the hard work. It's amusing to see that I'm worth a classification under the blogosphere X-files folder.

To the person who has been giving his opinions on my behaviour based on online observation, I want to thank you for the flattery I think.

I wonder actually how would another person feel like to be in my shoes. I think the right word for this now is, 'interesting' although I wouldn't call it a new experience. I'd just call this whole thing a mountain that has bloomed out of a molehill. Interestingly, last week I was quite furious… and when I told my boss about the whole hoo-hah, he said, 'Why bother about this? Let rubbish take care of itself.'

But I cannot, you know? That's the normal reaction a 'true' blogger would give in an earnest fight to feedback, with all the virtue boasting, 'I'm so honest in everything I say!'

And then the holidays are really a good thing. Because they force me to view things from a very relaxed angle, and I'm really quite engrossed in looking to see what other new things these peeps will come up with.

In the meantime, Eric's gone to Singapore again, for work this time, and I've a tonne of clothes to iron (because even with over 5k a month I can't afford a maid haha), so I'm leaving. Be back tomorrow.

And certainly, such very interesting shoes those are.

Whilst there have been many voicing their opinions on the latest shennanigans of the series known as Life of Minishorts, there are probably just as many silently watching how Claire responds.

In the imperfect world that is ours, the point is to make as best we can out of those things we cannot change.

Take for instance, the hoohaa over the recent meeting (confrontation is probably the more accurate description) of two very important men. One remains silent, elegantly or not. The other demands attention and spews caustic bitterness that his mind/ego self-congratulates as sarcastic wit.

True, the former is probably weaker, emotionally. The silence probably doesnt help either.

Hopefully though, the period of silence will be used as a time for assessing one’s mistakes/weaknesses and rationalising a constructive way to deal with it. The bonus of taking pause is that one is likelier to consider different perspectives.

So who is the bigger fool? The kettle who keeps quiet and therefore appears weak, or the black-as-sin pot who mouths off and leaves the observer with no doubt as to what an assinine jerk-with-a-god-complex one is? Only time will tell.

But in the short term, the one with a less emotional reaction is likelier to maintain credibility.

On another note, I fail to see how a vested interest translates into hypocrisy. I tellya, that word is so wrongly used these days. :)

A vested interest doesn’t preclude one from commenting. It merely caveats one’s comment.

Sorry for the speech. Where got mood to work today!?

Why is your goal in life to earn more than RM5k per month?
How did you come to that figure?

You mean Eric went to Singapore on your birthday? Maybe you need to hire a private detective.
