Seeing that I was feeling down, the boyfriend decided to give me a monkey to cheer me up when times are bad. 'Cos you're a monkey too!'
I'm too old for soft toys really but I can't help loving them.
Oi and the camera was a gift from Eric too!

Cheer up Minishorts/Claire. You’ve never written negatively about your work, and hence, should have nothing to fear. Moreover, if I were you, I would not be afraid of having my online persona linked to my real-life persona, because your online persona is that of a tolerant, kind, moral, compassionate person. And I hope that having such traits shouldn’t ever negatively affect you in your personal life.

I fail to understand bloggers who are desperate to see their names in print. Two score and ten years ago, being published means something. And those who can write are not pretentious, humble and always ready to share. Today, sigh, I see half-past-six bloggers (present company exempted) who beat their chests and exclaim (albeit silently) “Ah Am A Writer, So You dang well pay me some respect.” I feel sorry for the delusions some of them are experiencing. Lofty dreams and overexpectations can come crashing down as quickly as inflated egos punctured by the needle of reality..
