zewt: Before you heard of blogs, both of us were terrorising the blogosphere.

There I was, in a small hall packed to capacity. The crowd was as rojak as it gets, Malay, Indian, Chinese, Orang Asli, Eurasian, Caucasian and every combination thereof. On the stage too, there wasn’t anyone pop culture famous, but none the less all were talented. From east Malaysia to West Malaysia and a bit down under they sang about things close to heart, about life… not the sanitized
for the masses stuff… from the whimsical to the things that mattered… everyone spoke and sang easy…

And there we all were, it didn’t matter who you were or what you believed in, nobody took offence at the little truths that copped up, rather we all just embraced it and had a good time.

You’ll never find anyone who’se totally free of evil, but in that same vein you’ll never find someone whose lost all his/her humanity. All we really need is to acknowledge ourselves and and each other for who and what we are and therein we’ll find our hope for the future.
