Kevin and Janice's wedding at the weekend was a small church event in itself. The entire household (at BLC we're family) turned up to support the couple, and the children were the ones enjoying themselves most. At the toasting, these kids were gathered at the stage with glasses of water ready to join in the yam-seng.
Our man Eric (he's a household name here to the minishorts family of readers now) himself was happily playing with Baby Seth.
As cute as the picture is, the sight of Eric with the baby strikes fear down my throat a little … as much as I am eager to become Mrs Yeow soon, I'm quite scared of becoming a Mama one day. It's not so much the thought of being a mother that scares me, its the imagery of pain and screaming in the delivery room. Eric's told me about epidurals and snipping of the vaginas, 'I'm not going to let you hold my knuckles and fingers in order to keep them intact when you do get into the delivery room, dear,' and thinking about it is scary. But the more I try not to think, the more the images flood in.
But babies are cute. Babies are one of the major reasons I wanna get married and have sex (shh…) cos I wanna have at least one of my own. And BLC babies are the reason to come to church at BLC.
