Grab a rocket to the moon?
Randomness - I do have a review to post but with the elections my bosses (well I work for a GLC kan) are driving me up the wall with events events and events… and each time I see that post 'This is how I vote my leader' it serves as a mindful reminder to myself to vote wisely, so ….
I just came back from the hot hot hot seat of Penang and oh oh, what an eye-opener the experience was. Sigh, history IS written by the victors yah?
I was also reading this interview with my favourite Malaysian leader the great Tun, and I have to admit of a quiet surge of respect for the old man. He's the same age as my granny by the way, who spends her time watching channel Hua Hee Dai on TV and talks about movies like Yi Nan Wang, and Tun is still lending his piece of mind to the rest of us.
Damn I miss the older days when reading of the PM's appearance meant we could look forward to awesome anecdotes to carry around the entire day.
…
An old high school friend (now I wonder if he remembers me) who used to steal french fries from me during chinese debate classes is ALSO running for a seat (representing MCA), so actually these are indeed interesting times… and coming from Kelantan, I've just got this little sms reminding us to remember how the MOON is significant in all our daily lives here in Malaysia (you get your gaji at the end of the BULAN, you wanna get glamourous you go to the BULAN, therefore, says the sms, when you vote you should also cross the BULAN).
Unfortunately I quite agree with Tun, the opposition can't seem to put up a united front, or at least, I can't seem to see DAP ever working together with PAS.
Perhaps its ironic that DAP's logo is that of a rocket, and PAS's is that of a moon. I mean kalau nak pigi bulan pun kita perlukan rocket kan?
…
I'm just crapping. The truth is, I hate politics.

Yes, do vote wisely. But at the end of the day, we vote in the candidate who can deliver and raise our aspirations. Otherwise, vote the Siber Party of Malaysia (M). We’ll at least have fun with our manifesto, The Power of 4G.

I have been saying the same thing for months now.
The incumbants are morons. But so are the opposition.
So how now?
