Tak mampu, tak layak

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008 @ 1:58 pm | Life-logger

Baru saja saya sedar betapa rendah gaji pokok yang sedang 'dinikmati' pekerja gomen kita. Biarlah kerja sampai sepuluh tahun pun, kalau nak jadi setiausaha akhbar, gaji tertinggi yang diterima tu sekadar empat ribu saje.

Lain kali kalau masuk pejabat kerajaan, janganlah maki tahap keberkesanan tu. Faham lah sikit. Dah sampai pun masanya kita sedar betapa kekurangannya negara kita.

Pentadbiranmu Pak Lah sudah ketinggalan zaman. what are you going to do about all of this? Or is the new cabinet just a preamble to a new set of rhetorics to come?

I thought the Digi ad slogan is timely here for everyone, we should keep it as a motto - always. TIME TO CHANGE.

Bila zaman Pak Lah, semua berani bersuara…..bila zaman Mahathir selama hampir 21 tahun, takde sorang pun cakap apa-apa. Pak Lah baru complete satu term, dah pulak komplen macam-macam. Sikit-sikit nak tukar. Kalau gitu, kita asyik tukar lah macam managers yang kena sacked bila diorang kalah dalam satu season Premier League.

Kalau Pak Lah tak layak…siapa lebih layak. You tell me. Takkan nak kata “anybody but him”. The only mistake he did was keeping quiet. And then everyone starts taking advantage of that.

    Adakalanya, kita mmg hipokrit.

    Reader,

Engkau ni pengampu Pak Lah ke? Defender Pak Lah ke ?

  3. passingby Says:

    dear reader,

u sound macam a typical IGNORANT dude with your tidak apa attitude, i suggest u baca manyak sikit, baca yg i cakap ni refer to ANYTHING other than your belove MSM printing ok?

btw, u tukar u punya seluar dalam tak tiap tiap hari? memanglah u boleh tak tukar walaupun ia kotor dan busuk, tapi manyak orang lain tak tahan ni adui!

  4. Reader Says:

Masih menjaga kepentingan kaum sendiri. This is also an example of a rhetoric situation but from a different party.

So Passingby, kalau I nih ignorant, you pun sama. Kita sama-sama hipokrit. Baca apa yang you cakap? The seluar dalam sentence? Btw, maybe you should pick a better comparison lah. Seluar dalam pulak. LOL. Just because I am looking things at a different manner, does not mean I am ignorant lah kawan. I can say the same to you. I can say that you’re ignorant towards the good things the govt has done too correct? Just because it does not benefit you doesn’t mean the government lousy. Of course it’s not perfect.

And to yang lain-lain di laman web yang buat comment bahawa Pak Lah lah yang menyebabkan harga barang naik and petrol price naik…mmg should go back to uni.

    Oi.
I already used Reader as my nom de guerre in previous comments on this blog. Minishorts, by the IP you can see that the above Reader is a different person, a Fake Reader.

Ya, I admit I am chicken by posting anonymously. But you, dear Fake Reader, are a spineless, lily-livered chicken by stealing someone else’s pseudonym! Why are you trying to attribute your comments to me? Apa pasal takut sangat?

  6. tiffany Says:

    hi reader..

im agree mostt what u said…pak lah born to be great leader la kawan..every PM have different way of leadership.
i think barisan alternatif pun bulldhit shj. ingat la sikit, dulu umno yg tolong kita. if isu rasuah , jgn sangka PAS, DAP or PKR so innocent ..! they will do the same or more worst !!!

  7. Oops Maaf Says:

Excuse me REAL Reader. It was an honest mistake as this is my first time in this blog and I did not notice that you were using the nickname as well. So hold your horses and give me benefit of the doubt before you call someone spineless etc. Inilah, buta-buta wanna marah orang. You never process your words first and think of other possibilities that may have caused the confusion? Tsk..tsk..

Besides, I wouldn’t even want to attribute my comments to someone who don’t think through what he/she says. As if you’re someone worth to hide behind. LOL.

Now, I never like Singapore and everything they stand for. But all the Singaporeans I knew in uni, wanted to work for the government after they graduated. Not because they wanted to serve the country, but because it offered the best pay and the best career prospects.

Until the government can compete with the private sector in terms of their pay packet, it will remain as it is. You cannot attract the best minds just by saying “You’re serving your country”. If I wanted to ’serve’ my country, I would have joined the army.

Then you have to go back and slap a lot of people, because a year ago when the government raised the salary of the civil servants, people made a fuss about them having to PERFORM first before they get a pay hike. Perhaps that is true, but then you will never be able to get the best people for the job.

the difference in Mahathir is for that 21 years of his rule, he brought Malaysia forward. No one can deny his contribution to Malaysia. Amongst our four Prime Minister; Tunku only oushine him because he lead Malaysia through its historic moment.

In Abdullah’s rule, where has Malaysia gone? The promises he made were never fulfilled. His “justice” to corruption were all talk but no walk. What is the “mark” of his rule?

  12. Taka Says:

ofcourse when I said four, I meant the past 4 …

  13. Oops Maaf Says:

Know also its 21 years…Badawi how many years? How much did Mahathir achieve within the same amount of years that Badawi has as PM. Bear in mind that there were pros and cons during Dr M time and the same goes for AAB. People were complaining so much about DM and they’re the same now with AAB. The only difference is that, the groups of people complaining are different.

During DM’s reign, I tak nampak much improvements or the narrowing of the rich-poor gap. He concentrated too much on the bandar. So since he did a good job at it, now it’s AAB’s turn to develop the rural lah. As I have mentioned earlier, just because we don’t see it happening at our own frontyard, it doesnt mean that no changes have occured.

But of course, most of us are quite off the major point and at this, I have to agree with Vincent…you can’t expect someone to perform first before getting a pay hike. In the first place, they weren’t performing because they were being paid peanuts. Ask yourselves this, WOULD YOU a probably better qualified person, work as a civil servant to serve Msians as a whole? NO. Why? Coz the pay is hardly competitive.

We’re all in for the money. If you’re not then I would love to see you ppl who love complaining so much at the counters of JPJ and etc. The focus should be on how to get the funds to make the pay more competitive and yeah, it’s so freaking easy coz you ppl are a damn smart lot. LOL.

  14. Kopi Rakyat Says:

Aku ada suggesstion la untuk semua orang kat sini dan semua corrupted leaders.. rakyat ada power… so “ubah la sebelum anda diubahkan” :D

  15. Taka Says:

there is a good reason why election is every 5 years not 21.

  16. NoktahHitam Says:

This is all because of technology. The biggest achievement for Malaysia is to have a free Press, aka you blog.

Who to blame for the government setbacks? Blame Mahathir. Melayu Mudah lupa? Blame Mahathir. Malaysia tak cukup maju? Blame Mahathir.

Pak Lah took over the gov not even 10 years but we can see how truly corrupted the gov is.

I was once offered a project, but I need to pay an upfront commission. WTH?

  17. Taka Says:

it’s so easy just to blame one man. I’m sorry, it’s called Democracy.

“government by the people; a form of government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system.”

In Ah Beng’s term, it means YOU elected your Government and you are responsible for the outcome and undoing of the Government. It’s so easy to blame one man when things go wrong, so easy to forget that the ultimate power vested in that one man blamed were given by the very people who condemn him.
