You are one selfish self-serving YB.

Mar 13, 2008 in Curse-spouter

It takes just one drop of oil to pollute a bowl of water.

And you just dropped it into this new sea of hope with a huge splash.

In fact, let's take a look at it this way: obviously you've been doing the same bloody thing for 40+ years and you've gotten flack for all that shit you've done… and for such a long time you've been known as Mr Opposition, Mr very extreme politician.

At the end of the day I don't think you've even thinking about THE CHINESE for a start, right now from the way I read it, the way I perceive it, you're just thinking about your damn self, and worse still you're dragging along a whole bag of supporters with you.

I'll make it simple, cutting off all the rhetorics (too many other people have done it already), and I'll strip off the politics of the matter, and try to make it sound appeasing to you - assuming that you're the self-serving politician I now believe you to be:

Lessay you're looking for glory lah, okay? Lessay all you want at the end of the day is to one day become some ketua something of some cabinet in Malaysia lah okay?

You've done the same thing for so many years (40 plus kan) and you've never won the game. The one time you do something different, it obviously worked, this time you won it with a chance to make it to your goal very soon (lessay 5 years, not very far away) and for the FIRST TIME in history you get to see your name in the papers with a different tone to it. For the first time you already know that there are people who used to hate you, who've now started warming up to you. You already should see the signs, kan? That You're getting there, very very close to your goal.

What would you do? Make a U-turn and go back to the old, tak-jalan ways?

Or continue doing the right thing?

I've been blogging for 5 years, when I started I hated stupid people, but time washed over me and I mellowed… but 5 years on, in the aftermath of a history-making Elections, I still can't get over it… WHY ON EARTH ARE SOME PEOPLE JUST SO FREAKING STUPID?

Update (11.27 pm) Crap Apology

Just saw your apology on your blog… wahlau SO BLOATED meh your ego… buat apology also wanna drag the party into your mini blame-game.

'The statement was on the party position at the time.'

IF you really cared about the people, or your party, you would be the bigger man.

Tak yah lah independent body…

Mar 11, 2008 in General

I was watching BernamaTV while slurping a bowl of noodles last night when I almost choked on a mouthful of Mee Kari.

'(BN) will be appointing an independent body to study the causes of the election results.'

-_-"

Alamak. No need lah independent body. I give you free, simple answers why BN had this big blow, or you can actually read some of the delinquent posts on the blogs sometimes, or if you even see what's happening on the streets… senang je… WHAT FOR pay money to get independent body? Nah ni dia, reasons why the Pilihan Raya Umum ke-12 came out the way it did:

- Too many ministers who spend most of their time bodek-ing (apple-polishing) each other…
- Too many MCA ministers who can't read proper BM, or proper English, or …
- Too many speeches and manisfestos with the words, 'If you don't vote for MCA / MIC / Umno the (insert race here) rights will be compromised, ' (apa ni compromise compromise, grow up lah we're no longer so gila-ketuanan hak asasi satu kaum tertentu)
- Lousy campaign managers - too many 'vote for malaysia, vote barisan nasional' advertisements, oi honestly speaking if there weren't so many billboards, radio ads and tv ads, you guys wouldn't have been blown away so badly…
- Too much control on the media - lack of news on the opposition campaigns made it obvious that this was going to be a very unfair campaign and the people got angry…
- Too canggih rallies on BN's side (my mom went to an MCA rally which had a 9 course meal tau…
- Too many assumptions on the people's needs (korang ni bukan lagi jenis yang gila-gilakan duit, we're not so 贪小便宜 anymore… )
- Too many laws proposed and passed within a single day…
- Too many potholes on the roads
- Too many tolls

TOO MANY INDEPENDENT BODIES SET UP TO DO STRANGE STUDIES.

Diversity should breed unity.

I was reading the news everywhere and amidst this pride of finally owning up to being Malaysian (and not Chinese / Malay / Indian) suddenly I felt shame.

I'm sure I was not the only Chinese who got the sms going, 'If you're Chinese you will not vote for MCA who sells out on the Chinese race,' during the weeks leading up to the Elections. Were you one of those, like me, who felt sickened by the manner that the ruling coalition parties had angled their stance, as if we Malaysians were still so divided by our skin colours and languages and religions, that we would vote for parties who would protect our personal racial interests?

So in a little after 24 hours of a momentous time where Malaysian truly voted as Malaysians, not Malays, Indians or Chinese, why must we be so quick to return to our racially superior M&M tubes?

I don't want to believe that Malaysians are that archaic in our thoughts and values. It cannot be true, that most people believe that the only way to win a game is to make sure other people lose in it. The election results prove that we're able to make it happen, BN still wins a simple majority to set up the government, the opposition wins the Rakyat's approval, the Rakyat wins its right to democracy, and the only losers are the one who're game on intending other people to lose in the race.

To the Chinese community in Perak who're so proud of our racial heritage - good for you, but really, does it matter whether the MB is Malay, Chinese or Indian? Or does it matter that whatever race the new MB is, he will lead the new state government with a just hand and ensure peace, love and justice as values to uphold? If we strip ourselves of all our individual wants, and put everything we value on the table, which is more important? That we are able to live together in peace? Or that the Chinese can be united in peace?

Its really time to grow up as Malaysian.

What Recount? BANTAH!

Crap:

Uncounted ballot boxes in Lembah Pantai - 12.12am
There are another 14 ballot boxes that have not been counted in this parliamentary seat, throwing a spanner in the victory achieved by PKR’s Nurul Izzah against incumbent Shahrizat Abdul Jalil.

Apparently they are doing a recount now. WHERE THE HELL DID THE 14 boxes come from? It's not one, its not two, its 14 freaking boxes…

BANTAH!

*called Amir who was at Bt Bandaraya school as counting agent… we all followed the ballot boxes BACK to the main centre, everything went smoothly, the results were clear… no boxes during then, then the counting agents went home…

Kenapa pulak tibe-tibe timbul 14 ballot boxes? What nonsense is this?

*Update:

Polling agent: Only technical issue to be solved in Lembah Pantai - 12.43am
A technical issue has been blamed for the delay in the delivery of official results from 14 ballot boxes. However the result will remain the same - a win for Nurul Izzah - with no question of a further count.

Nah tau pun apa erti tu TELUS dan TRANSPARENT. Good for you SPR!
