		<description>I would assume most NGOs have a particular issue that they fight/work on, but they might show a lack of interest in another issue.

For example, if a NGO concerned with global warming does not speak up about child abuse, can that be seen as hypocrisy?

Having said that, I think it all boils down to attitude. If a person acts really smug about his/her 'contributions' to society, that would just turn people off.

This post reminds of a South Park episode where the driver's of hybrid vehicles look down on those that drive non-hybrids and act all high and mighty.</description>
