Same here. To protest in KLCC Twin Tower or place where no one goes, the former will be a better choice for the organizer. So, expect CCN does a coverage on that.

Solution? Politic comes first…for them.

I said down there in previous post – protest and give a solution, so that it will look like, ‘WTF its so simple and you can’t even think of it, and you call us our government? ‘

otherwise, its akin to saying, ‘hey prices are high you make it low you lousy government.’ and then the government will have EVERY right to say, ‘OH really, hey wisen up, there’s no feasible choice except this.’

Cos no one seems to be giving a proper choice yah.

The protest is on July 12, not June.

I don’t think they chose that spot to show their frustration at Petronas, did they? However, I do agree that some other places like the Prime Minister’s office in Putrajaya (just an example, I’m not suggesting) would be a more suitable spot but then to DRIVE all the way there would be more costly than the twin towers, no? That would still depend on where you drive from though.

Haiya Petronas, Shell, Esso, and the rest are ALREADY getting market rates for their stuff la; the gomen pays them the difference from the pump price, hence “subsidy”.

These guys picked KLCC to protest because they like their teargas and chemical-laced water with a view ma. Cannot meh?
