Still have no balls.
This is my take:
IF you are a celebrity, then fucking admit it. Coming out and saying something as inmature as 'btw, i have never ever regarded or refered to myself as a celebrity' is insanely stupid, worse if you're been exactly that, a celebrity, for the past four years. Sinful if everything you've done, everything you've planned and designed in the past 3? 4? years was to head you to become more and more successful as a celebrity.
Its as bad as Amber Chia not being able to handle the sticks and stones that comes with being a celebrity model and gasping, 'But I've never seen myself as being a model before.'
As bad as Pak Lah coming out in the open and saying, 'I HAVE NEVER CONSIDERED MYSELF AS THE PRIME MINISTER OF MALAYSIA.'
As terrible as Anwar Ibrahim getting all that flack about sodomy and the scandals that come with his battle, and then blurting out, 'You know I have never ever regarded myself or never dreamt of being the prime minister of Malaysia.'
Denying you are a celebrity, when you are OBVIOUSLY a celebrity, its just a bloody insult to your fanboys, your readers, your agents, the people who pay you. Its' NOT even halfway near humble. It's noobish behaviour and its stupidly wimpy.

It’s all about perspective. You see celebrity, they see themselves as small fry compared to big names in Hollywood.
August 7th, 2008 at 2:11 am
I know who you’re referring to, tee hee hee!
He doesn’t have balls. He has faux coconuts with a VERY short stem attached.
August 7th, 2008 at 11:17 am
Tsk tsk tsk…why the hate? They have their own philosophy and you have yours. If everyone were to spout vitriolic just because people are different from them, then the world would be full of rude people who do rude things in cinemas, which is, last I heard, not condoned by the bible.
I’m not a big fan of his; he’s a sad fat loser who blogs obviously to get to know hot chicks, but in this matter he never disturbed you. So it is not right for you to attack him for no apparent reason other than subconcious jealousy.
August 7th, 2008 at 12:11 pm
with friends like you, choo ki, kenny doesn’t need detractors like me.
August 7th, 2008 at 12:39 pm
Lol, the spillover effect…
How many more blogs are gonna talk about this???
And to think that all this started on a generic (ok, not so generic) post comparing bloggers and journalist.
August 7th, 2008 at 12:57 pm
how unfortunate, how unfortunate.
August 7th, 2008 at 1:12 pm
Celebrity, to me, is someone like Britney or Nurhaliza. Kenny, Xiaxue and yourself, I consider Blogebrities. Celebrities do not equal to Blogebrity, definitely.
I’m surprised by the hate cos there are many perspective to everything and one would not know another’s perspective until you ask him. Why the ‘attack’? It’s like hanging a person before questioning his motive, intention or innocence.
August 7th, 2008 at 2:11 pm
I’m lost.
August 7th, 2008 at 9:42 pm
hah. how nice and polite of lennonist to say “subconscious jealousy” when it’s so obviously glaring from my view. heck, perspective whattt..
mimi>> blogbrities or whatever u call it get paid to write advertorials and invited to whatever events. so, i think u shld only count kenny and xiaxue and some others only like cheeserland ringo.
August 7th, 2008 at 9:50 pm
Hate? What hate? I only see a bunch of people (most prolly cos they are so) interpreting a comment that’s not mild as hate comment.
Some people say that how you see things reflects who you are.
They have their own philosophy and you have yours.
This line is even weirder. You expect Claire to respect other people’s philosophy. Are you then not respecting her philosophy and thoughts, by saying she shouldn’t do this, she shouldn’t say this? Isn’t that the same as what she’s saying about whoever she’s saying, only that it sounds milder?
I’m not a big fan of his; he’s a sad fat loser who blogs obviously to get to know hot chicks, but in this matter he never disturbed you. So it is not right for you to attack him for no apparent reason other than subconcious jealousy.
Tsk tsk. Why the hate? And the judging?
Guess we can’t win em all, especially againsts hypocrites!
August 8th, 2008 at 12:55 am
Oh well, everybody is entitled to an opinion. But i feel that this is a tad cowardly if you do not dare say the exact thing to the person-in-question face to face. But if you can tell me you’ll be able to say the exact same thing in the exact same tone as what you wrote on this blog to the person-in-question FACE TO FACE, then credit to you, you’re judgmental, but at least you have principles. Bravo!

You remind me of the kind of troll that goes around changing nick so that ppl won’t say, ‘that guy again ah???’
Not to mention your similarity with the extreme kind of proponent of the opposition party’s that like to accuse people who points out the good thing of the ruling party as being paid to do so.
You got no other way to refute my statements is it? Trying to smear my credibility with labels? I can’t think of any word to describe you other than this: CUTE.
August 9th, 2008 at 11:27 am
Naeboo: It’s alright, it’s her blog, she can bitch whatever she wants. Fair enough. She should have disallowed comments for this post, but it’s her blog, she can do whatever she wants.

And Zefi, i think what Lennonist was trying to say is KennySia is not perfect, we’re bound to find imperfection in someone when half of his life is chronicled in a blog for the whole world to read/see.
What we don’t understand is, what was the reason for this post? And worst still, it was so in-between-the-lines. A thinly veiled ‘attack’ on a so called ‘friend’? If she wasn’t trying to stir some feedback from the public, she needn’t have to post this up (besides the point of ‘Its my blog i can do whatever i want’ reasoning), she could have just bitched about this in private to her fiance, friends or could have just wrote in down on a piece of paper, read it and burn it.
So the very fact that she chose to post it online, for the world to see, was to invite feedback from the public. So Zefi, i think you should respect what people have to say about the issue here. You’re entitled to give yours, others are entitled to give theirs. But give opinions about the POSTING, not nitpicking people’s comment and tearing a person down to ‘protect’ the writer. Can’t exactly blame people for calling you a Fanboy right?
OK you know since you’re on it… humour me a little. Because what I don’t understand is, why must you understand my reasons for this post? Since you wanna understand, lemme give you a multiple -choice answer set, so you can be less upset :
A. I hate kennysia and I am jealous of him.
B. There was this other person I met who kept denying he was a celebrity and I decided to blog about it.
C. I watched a show on TV and Lindsay Lohan was bitching about how she hates the limelight, and I blogged about it, thus linking it to Kennysia.
D. I wanted to run a mini research through my writings to understand customer behavior. And I attracted people like you and Zefi. Food for thought.
E. I was bored because I quit my job and I felt like blogging something nasty so I decided to pick on someone who I knew but I couldn’t decide on who and that comment came along so I decided to pick on him lor.
F. I wanted to rant. About something. Anything. This was something.
G. Its a conspiracy theory. I can’t really tell you.
H. Ok I’ll tell you. Actually, I was under duress, forced to blog things i don’t like, police came to my house, dictated the script for me and I blogged.
I. I missed my favourite flamers Justine and Naeboo and wanted to see them again, so I decided to be bitchy and emo, and see if they would appear again.
J. Since I’ve been ‘lost in space’ for so long, I wanted to see if I could still rile up the emotions of people.
K. I wanted to see how many clever readers I had.
L. I wanted to see how many fanboys I still have.
Give you a clue. The answer is out there.

And Zefi, i think what Lennonist was trying to say is KennySia is not perfect, we’re bound to find imperfection in someone when half of his life is chronicled in a blog for the whole world to read/see.
I’m amazed you are able to see something so obvious. I guess the part where he insulted kenny does not exist. I must’ve misinterpreted it. I’m sorry. It seems like you’re wiser, so I’ll just listen to you.
Then why are you telling me all these? Why aren’t you respecting my right to say what I want to say to other people? You are right that I’m entitled to give my opinion, and others theirs. Then why are you ‘advicing’ me here? Why are you nitpicking on my comments? Why do you ‘protect’ them when I’m harsh, and not doing the same thing for the writer?
I’m not interested in protecting her. I’m only like to point out the hypocrisy of people who don’t know what they are, but acting like they’re some righteous bunch. Being politically correct is not my game. If I see your hypocrisy, I’ll point it out. If I see you arguing/debating fallaciously, I’ll point it out.
By the way, why can’t I comment on other people’s comment? Is that an unspoken rule?
Plus, are the things I said incorrect? Why are you attacking me and not what I wrote? I’ve said it to other people, and I’ll say the same to you: I think you’re hypocritical, telling me one thing, while doing the opposite.
And I’ve ‘attacked’ Claire’s postings sarcastically. Twice. I’m telling you this because I think you’re the type that just write what you want to write from what you see is obvious, without a bother to make sure whether what you think of the person is true or not. Yes, I’m judging you, as you did me.
I respect anyone’s right to say anything stupid, hypocritical, or outrightly ridiculous, but I never promised that I would not comment negatively on them.
Critics are whiners, but those who don’t try to benefit from these whiners are losers.
You’ve got much to learn from Benjamin Franklin.
August 10th, 2008 at 6:31 pm
Uh, btw, I don’t blame him for calling me a fanboy.
I’ve already said that I think he’s cute.
I guess you were too busy thinking of how to ‘tear me down’ to notice that that statement wasn’t sarcasm.
August 11th, 2008 at 12:36 am
oh pls. if u can even call it a flame.

August 11th, 2008 at 12:38 am
blame streamyx for posting it when i was typing with long nails
August 12th, 2008 at 12:13 pm
certainly u never heard abt the word humble.
August 13th, 2008 at 6:35 pm
If I call myself a celebrity, ppl say I am not humble.
If I don’t call myself a celebrity, ppl like you say I have no balls.
Seriously, what do you want me to do, Miss AsiaWorks?
Wahlau YOU CAME IN wah lau OMG!! wait…
errr.. don’t read other people’s blogs? move on with life? don’t take things seriously? don’t be so personal on stuff? i have my opinions and i will say them. if i don’t say them i won’t be who i am. yang tu you dah tau from day one.
the problem starts when someone tries too hard to please everybody. i’m the last person in the world anyone should try to please anyway, my standards are far beyond others, ridiculous most of the time, and that’s why not many people like me. but i want to be like that, but what does that matter to you?
sigh… so i cannot blog what i want is it? didn’t we fight about this a few years back? Anyway since I do believe in the training and am a junkie, don’t mind me taking that label as a compliment ok?
August 15th, 2008 at 12:05 pm
The judgements will stop when kennysia dies.
August 15th, 2008 at 4:30 pm
In case you haven’t noticed, Kenny is asking what he should do with regards to being acknowledged as a ‘celebrity.’ Should he maintain his humble posture or do you want him to publicly stamp his giant coconuts on the main stage and self-proclaim he is The Kenny Sia, Malaysia’s most fehmes blogger?
He does in no way say that you have no right to write your thoughts out on your blog. However I think you do need to read and address the matter at hand instead of going on a tangent which clearly is in no way related to Kennys question on how he should conduct himself in public.
Personally, from what I can see, for someone like yourself who is supposed to be PR representative of a big company, you sure are pretty terrible at being on point. Is this how it’s done in Malaysia? Let’s just avoid the important matter at hand and go and take cheap shots?

I never thought that to not deny one’s famous-ness, one must proclaim it. And I thought revelling in silence is good enough… How naive are my thoughts…
I guess that’s the difference between a smartass and a dumbass. T_T
