So far it fits

We (my cousin and I) braved the rainy afternoon to Desa Sri Hartamas today for my dress-fitting session. I've been having nightmares over this situation ever since the 'OMG I can't fit into my cocktail dinner dress' problem a week ago, and so when the designer helped me into my gown I was very very sure the same problem would happen with the ceremony dress.

And THANK GOD, it fit me like a glove. No alterations needed, just a second and final fitting a week before the wedding to be sure that I could still slide into it.

I was sweating like a hog after I came out of the tent (my wedding gown, it's so huge I swear could spend an entire night in the wilderness under the skirt), and the wedding gown makers are OBVIOUSLY coolly air-conditioned. I'm so not looking forward to the sweating and melting foundations at Taman Jaya come the big day (we're planning a detour to Tmn Jaya to get some last minutes 'Ooh i love your eyes when you stare at me like that' poser-looking photos), and then of course the tea ceremonies (we don't have air conditioning in our living rooms ok.

Sigh, less than a month left. Let's pray that I won't gain any more weight before the big day, and if I do lose weight, here's hoping that I won't turn out looking like a lollipop with a bobbing head.
