Video session!

Before heading back to work, I'm loading up my phone with loads of videos of little Paul so that I can still see him during work hours.
I am looking forward to head back to work, but I am dreading the thought of leaving Paul alone (the longest I've been away from Paul is 3 hours nia, for a hair cut). Sniff, days like this I wish I were working freelance or working from home.
In this video, Paul says he loves his milk (or at least, I imagine my Paulie can talk already!).

Paul is so cute! We finally can here your voice here!
Do be aware that babies Paul age are already listening and learning language. From two to four months babies turns head toward sounds and can begin to discriminate one sound from another. They use verbal play through cooing, gooing and laughing. Vowel sounds heard such as ooohh, eee, and ahhh. From 4 to 8 months babbling begins. Some Consonant sounds can be heard.
During the same period babies can begin to anticipate an event (e.g. peek-a-boo) and follows a line of regard (e.g. visually follows toy moving across floor) as well as joint attention (i.e. is capable of visually attending to object with caregiver.
Somewhere between 2-6 months babies can recognize your face and daddys face. Right now Paul knows you by your scent especially if you are breast feeding him.
Each passing week and month will be period of wonderful events for you, Eric and Paul!

gosh! he is super adorable. i melted when i hear him say “yes” when u asked him whether he likes his milk.

Don’t use the camera too close to him or he might end up cock-eyed. Babies like nice shiny objects in front of their face and they’d squint their eyes to see what its all about and hence, the cock-eyes. Just FYI …

Please do not spread such an old folk tale, (old wives tale here in the U.S.A).
Babies at Pauls age are very nearsighted and naturally squint. They can only clearly see object that are up close.
A babies eyes get thier color and other physical traits from the combinatoin of genes from mother and father.
Claire please excuse me if this appeared rude.
