Shift.

Recently, I've taken a shift in viewing how I should position myself as an employee and a professional person. In the past, I've clearly placed virtual barriers in terms of communicating about the nature of my work, the place and people I work for and the results I produce for my employers. Personally I have stated my stand on the matter, that this blog is a personal blog only and it communicates to my friends and family the general ongoings in my life, and it allows returning readers a small peek into my personality and the kind of choices that affects my daily happenings.

While that's all well, I've also come to the realization that it has been rather impossible to be absolute in all matters, and as much as I like to be a very private person, owning a blog and writing about my life on a blog turns that desire into an oxymoronic situation. So recently, I've sort of 'come clean', and in my gmail-sent emails, I've added a social media 'sign off'. These days you get to 'find-me' on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

The good thing about this is, I realize, I really have nothing to hide anyway.

Here's to Monday, and another fresh start to the week.
